New members must play in 3 Meppershall Society Golf meetings before becoming eligible for overall 1st, 2nd, 3rd, or front/back nine prizes.
Only current paid‑up members can win these prizes.
Nearest‑the‑pin prizes are open to all.
New members’ handicaps are based on their first 3 competition results or club handicap.
Members may request a handicap reduction at any time.
Prize rules: A member may only win one prize per meeting.
Cut: A pre-determined percentage of handicap + a fraction of 1 point (eg 0.3) per point above MSSS: there is a cap currently set to 5 points.

Fee: Variable depending on the green fee/food cost to members. Usually between £20 and £25.
Players may be charged if withdrawing after numbers are confirmed unless the club waives fees.
